Job Summary:
The role holder will be responsible for coordinating the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation activities to enable the Foundation deliver on its strategy. In addition this position will handle the program administration to generate data to support the Foundation’s impact to society and will liaise with the bank on financial and logistics issues for the Foundation. The role holder will be expected to work with the Head of the Foundation and members of the Board of Trustees to successfully implement initiatives that will enable the Foundation’s achieve its strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Incumbent will report to the Head of Foundation and will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the performance analysis and review of the projects supported by the Foundation using the approved Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) tool
- Coordinating the administration of interim and post-completion evaluations and reviews of the projects supported by the Foundation
- Monitoring the partner engagement process to ensure both the Foundation’s and the Partner’s need are incorporated
- Working with the Head of the Foundation to oversee the implementation of programs carried out by the Foundation and its partners
- Working with the Head of the Foundation and the I&M Bank marketing staff to provide timely communication and information to partners and stakeholders
- Regularly monitoring and evaluating websites and social media platforms to ensure adequate branding and visibility of the projects and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinating the staff’s volunteering programs and their participation in the Foundation’s projects and interventions
- Supporting the Head of the Foundation in providing timely, high quality reports to internal and external partners and stakeholders by generating content from the field
Qualification And Competence Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Statistics or any Business related field from a recognized institution
- Training in Monitoring & Evaluation, Project Management, Community Development, Information Management, Statistics will be an added advantage
- At least two (2) years of experience in the implementation and management of projects
- Experience in the design and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation tools
- Experience working in capacity-building initiatives in the area of environmental conservation, education, economic empowerment or innovation
- Familiarity with and demonstrated experience of designing, developing and using different monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability strategies, approaches, tools and methodologies
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Proficiency with grant evaluation
Strong analytical and presentation skills with an eye for detail
- Advanced research skills
- Excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills in English, including proven experience in writing proposals, reports and information analysis
- Ability to work and deliver results under minimum supervision
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Compassionate, and respectful of all people
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people with tact and diplomacy
- Flexible in responding to changing work priorities
- Computer skills with experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
