Main Purpose Of Job
The Project Assistant will work under the Project Manager and will be tasked with facilitating training of the data collection tool MJALi for the Social Economic Survey running in 9 Counties across Kenya. The candidate will also support other projects on a needs basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in the overall implementation of the project and overseeing field activities.
- Assist with coordinating the implementation of the project with other stakeholders.
- Support in compiling periodic reports on the status of the project on a needs basis.
- Coordinate with project team on various tasks as per work plan.
- Assist program staff during survey planning and implementation especially preparing logistics needed, participating in data collection and cleaning.
Required Qualifications
Education and knowledge
- A bachelor`s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics or a related discipline.
Experience
- At least 2 years relevant experience;
- Experience in mobile health platforms an added advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams and facilitate communication.
- Highly organized in both time and in resources; need to manage progress reports and work plan.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking
- Ability to multitask; work well under pressure, and work efficiently to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to allow for collaboration with other team players.
