Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in western Kenya and borders Homa Bay County, Kisii County, Narok, Tanzania and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervision of Cooperative programmes or preforming specialized or administrative
- functions at the headquarters.
- Project appraisal
- Credit administration
- Development and implementation of accounting systems
- Enforcement of Co-operative Societies Act, the rules therein and the societies By-laws
- Advising societies on proper conduct of meetings;
- Implementation of policies and co-ordination of all co-operative development activities
Requirements for Appointment:
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following subjects; commerce, Economics (Lower Second Class), Business Administration, Co-operative Economics, Statistics, Sociology or (LLB) from a recognized University
