Financial Planning Analyst at Diversey

Qualifications Desired (Skills, Experience And Knowledge)

  • A Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or any other related discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • CPA K Graduate
  • Minimum of 8 years cumulative accounting or Finance experience, 4 of which must have been in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in finance business partnering will be a distinct advantage.
  •  Knowledge/experience in International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Knowledge in  information and data management
  • Must possess good analytical skills; advanced knowledge of Excel a must.
  • Ability to interact and work with leaders and employees at all levels.
  • He /she must be self-driven with a “can do” attitude and passion to achieve results under minimum supervision.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and take direction from, and support, multiple managers.
  • Must possess great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Committed to standards of the highest professionalism and ethical behavior.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and distribute monthly financial reports to Business Units, Management  and Global.
  • Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations.
  •  Prepare monthly consolidation and executive financial pack and present to the relevant stakeholders.
  •  Coordinate financials questions/answers among Business Units and Accounting & Control department
  •  Prepare annual financial information binder to be provided to the external auditors
  •  Prepare quarterly operating reports and present to the relevant stakeholders.
  •  Act as finance business partner to the Business Unit and Supply Chain function.
  •  Assist in the budget & reforecast process
  • Maintain budget and reforecast information in the accounting system.
  • Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed.
  • Develop, maintain and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as needed.
