Job Description
The Revenue Management (RM) Systems Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the RM team with the execution and implementation of RM Systems development initiatives. In this role, you are responsible for conducting systems performance analysis and evaluation of functionalities, highlighting areas for system improvement and projected benefits in Revenue Management Department. You will gather and share system knowledge across the department, ensure the normal operation of RM Systems and promptly resolve system disruptions. You will perform on-going analysis and evaluate RM systems functionalities. This includes modification and maintenance of RM systems data inputs and settings.
Responsibilities for the System Development Analyst Job
- Conducting systems performance analysis and evaluation of functionalities
- Highlighting areas for system improvement and projected benefits in Revenue Management Department.
- Leverage and share system knowledge across the system users
- Ensure the normal/daily operation of RM system and promptly resolve system disruptions.
- Perform on-going analysis and evaluate RM system functionality.
- Modifications and maintenance of RM systems to ensure the data integrity.
- RM system management including:
- Monitoring demand forecasts & analyst input settings
- Creating sponsorships for demand in new markets
- Reviewing RMS forecast performance
- Monitoring overbooking levels
- Liaise with IT Department and System Vendors
- Follow-up on Action Trackers
- Attend weekly conference calls with the System Vendors
- Define and Deliver RM Systems and Process roadmap.
- Evaluation of RFP’s and Vendors selection
- Identify System gaps and give guidance on enhancements and Developments
- Continuous review and improvement/re-calibration (Parameter settings) of RM Systems and processes
- Implementing industry best practice
System Development Analyst Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Computer
- Master’s degree in technical programs with 1 to 2 years of job related experience
- Willingness and ability to be self-learning based on documentation/investigation
- Good level of knowledge and experience of SQL and possible other programming languages (java, C++, C)
- Strong analytical, statistical and mathematical skills
- Technical Knowledge requirements:
- Proficiently use SQL
- Proficiently use Excel
- Write process flows/documentation
