Roles for the Energy Director Job
- Developing and implementing policies, programs, projects and laws on Energy, sectors
- Supervising and managing the sub sector activities, programs and staff;
- Monitoring, evaluating and preparing status reports on programs, projects and activities of the department;
- Compiling and disseminating data and statistics on Energy.
- Providing technical advice on energy planning and management
- Managing consultations with donors, GOK officials, private sector, Civil Society groups and other associations
- Ensuring effective integration of activities, timely and effective implementation of all projects;
- Ensure timely and appropriate utilization of the budgeted project resources;
- Providing leadership and direction to staff in the department.
Energy Director Job Requirements
- Must have a Certificate in Strategic Leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution OR attended senior management course from Kenya school of government
- Develop the County Strategic Plan;
- Have thorough understanding and respect of the diversity within the County;
