Our client is a Nairobi-based technology-enabled logistics company that is transforming how goods are moved across Africa.
They are looking for Sales Reps to help them drive their new on demand logistics solution.
Job Responsibilities;
- Present, promote and sell the company products & services to existing and prospective customers.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling/online engagement.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze the market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Share with management reports on customer needs, challenges, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services in the market.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
- Preparing weekly and monthly revenue reports.
Requirements and Skills
- At least 2 years proven track record as a sales executive/representative in technology-enabled logistics companies.
- Immense understanding of the logistics industry is a MUST for the On-demand Logistics Sales Rep Role.
- Experience with IT solutions sales will be an added advantage for the Fleet Management Solution Sales Rep Role
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships.
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
