Our client, a market leader in the Floriculture/Horticulture sector, is looking for a hands-on and independent Commercial & Technical Manager. The successful candidates will be responsible for the sales in the Company and need to be customer-focused, extroverted, have a commercial talent and be able to speak easily with customers from different cultures and backgrounds. He/she needs to be a dedicated team leader and team player with excellent structural capabilities and adherence to procedures including maintaining administration and various digital reports. Having prior experience with Data Analytics and BI tools is required as well. International experience is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve gross revenue.
- Understand and improve gross margin.
- Monthly reporting on the progress of sales and opportunities.
- Managing the technical team.
- Manage the assistant’s team responsible for a service concept.
- Maintain and improve existing processes.
- Manage debt control.
- Handle customer complaints.
- Project management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- More than 5 years of proven hands-on experience in a similar role.
- Extensive knowledge in the Horticulture and/or Floriculture sector.
- Commercial experience in the grower industry.
- Ability to operate independently, accurately and experience in writing reports.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Willing to travel.
