Kwale County is located in south coast of Kenya.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Irrigation systems in irrigation sites in the County
- Design and develop BQs for irrigation dams, pans and pipelines
- Carry out identification of suitable irrigation sites in the County
- Design feasibility studies
- Carry out suitability test of irrigation water and soils
- Calculate crop water requirements for various irrigated crops
- Any other activity related to irrigation in the County
Requirements for appointment
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in irrigation, Agricultural engineering irrigation option
- Not more than forty five (45) years of age
- Be a registered member of Engineers Board of Kenya
Must comply with Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Ethics and values by forwarding valid
- Tax Compliance Certificate
- Certificate of Good conduct
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance
- Ethics and AntiCorruption Commission (EACC) Clearance
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate
- Birth Certificate
