Duties and responsibilities
- Driving/operating assigned vehicle
- Carry out routine checks on vehicle cooling system, oil, electrical, tyre pressure and braking systems
- Detect and report any vehicle defects/malfunction of vehicle assigned
- Maintain vehicles daily work tickets
- Ensure security and safety of the assigned vehicle on and off road
- Ensure safety of passengers and/or goods therein
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
- Any other duties assigned by their immediate supervisors
Requirements for appointment
- A valid driving license with classes A,B,CE
- A valid certificate of secondary education form four (4) mean grade ‘D’ plain and above or equivalent qualification from recognized institution
- Attended a first AID certificate lasting not less than 1 week at St. John Ambulance or institute of highway and building technology or any other recognized institutions
- At least two (2) years driving/operating experience
- Not more than forty five (45) years
- Passed suitability Test for Grade 111
- Passed Occupational Grade Test for drivers
Must comply with Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010 on Ethics and values by forwarding valid
- Tax Compliance Certificate
- Certificate of Good conduct
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB) Clearance
- Ethics and AntiCorruption Commission (EACC) Clearance
- Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate
- Birth Certificate
