Kenya Red Cross is one of the many International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement societies around the world. The Kenya organisation was established in 1965, The Kenya Red Cross supports and runs a number of projects whilst raising awareness to the Kenyan public about the current issues or problems which may affect them.

Duties and Responsibilities
The graphic design intern will edit, visualize, design and create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. They will also shape the visual aspects of websites, publications, policy briefs, newsletters, articles, banners,
The graphics and design intern will support the ICHA team in editorial and designing and all of the Units publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct editorial work on the word documents
- Study publications and determine the design requirements
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
- Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
- Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
- Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
- Test graphics across various media
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Skills and Experience
- Proven graphic designing experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Degree in Design, IT or related field is a plus
